Mawgan Porth itself offers plenty of things to do and great places to eat during your stay and there are many beautiful places to visit nearby. Neighbouring Watergate Bay and it's expansive beach offers watersports and more great places to eat. The popular Old Cornish Fishing town of Padstow is close by and is home to Rick Stein & Paul Ainsworth's Restaurants. At Merlin Farm you can enjoy spa treatments in the comfort of your cottage. Trevone - a spacious detached barn conversion set apart from the other three cottages offering more privacy and outdoor space.
All cottages have 2 bedrooms sleeping a maximum of 4, low occupancy discounts are offered for just 2 occupants (sharing master bedroom only).

Merlin Farm is a sustainable site. All the Cottages are powered by UV via 216 solar PV panels in our south facing field. Water is heated by the sun. Our Eco Cottages have underfloor heating using a ground source heat pump. They are well insulated to maximise energy efficiency and the Cathedral Style windows means they are often heated by passive solar alone.

Guests staying at Merlin Farm Holiday Cottages receive complimentary daytime charging from our large Solar PV array between 10am and 5pm.
There is also an additional Podpoint charger available to use 24 hours costing *35p per KWh - you will need a Podpoint account/app to use (*subject to change).
EV Chargers cannot be reserved. As we have 4 Cottages and 3 EV Chargers, we don't foresee these being over subscribed. As is EV Etiquette we kindly request Guests move their cars to a non-charging space after charging.
In the interest of electrical safety guests are prohibited from charging electric cars using a domestic 3-pin circuit from inside the cottages.
